The Best Flower Shops To Visit in Georgia According to an International Floral Designer Based in Atlanta

We’ve found the very best boutiques for local flower delivery and beautiful gifting from the mountains to the coast of the Peach State.

It's time to visit the shop on the corner. All over the state, forward thinking local floral designers with retail savvy are redefining "flower power" with their energy for the industry and refreshing use of color, variety and stems. Flower shops are alive and thriving.

I love every. single. minute. of. it!

If you are like me you love to travel and when an opportunity arrises, you take it. I am grateful to have been sent down the backroads as a child by my Grandmother.  as it created a natural tendency to stop and shop, take a place in and meet people. From Thomasville to Statham, Athens to Saint Simons and Savannah to Augusta, Columbus, Macon and all the in-between I love this great state of Georgia!

When traveling to work destination events, workshops and corporate events I can't help but take note of the small shops in town. Whether I include them in a project or stop to look around, small local businesses are a priority. You can say, I like to stop and smell the roses. I am sharing the best flower shops in Georgia to visit so you can, too.

Holly Diana Floral focuses on creating one-of-a-kind arrangements to fit your every delivery need, plus wedding and events Holly also offers a range of extras including lemon print dog bandannas, birdhouses and local homemade treats. I met holiday at a 1 Day Private Workshop. Her energy immediately captivated me that day and I have followed her ever since. Forage and Flower Shop in Serebe, Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia
Forage and Flower, Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia

You'll find way more than you expected at this full service floral and botanical design studio located in Serenbe just up the road to Newnan and near Palmetto, Georgia. The owner, Kathryn Drennan is a long-time flower lover & Atlanta native who has worked within the industry in Charleston, S.C. and Sea Island, Ga. Forage and Flower offers wedding and event services, planted arrangements with succulents, market jar arrangements, and gorgeous wraps. What makes Forage and Flower unique to me is the kind of flowers they use and their style. Both are elevated and they're the style blooms and texture, I like. Plus, it's custom.  I like to see when I order flowers and plants myself.

Event, floral designer and stylist Andrea Harper's exuberant blend of blooms and styling talents have been a Savannah, Georgia institution for  X years. Andrea remembers always loving flowers as a child – picking gardenias in her backyard and sharing them with friends and neighbors and often doodling them in her sketchbooks. By the time she was 12, she made her way into the floral shop, assisting with flower prep and clean up. She loved the sweet smell that came with opening a new box of garden roses and how alive and busy the shop became in the days leading up to Valentine’s Day. I have worked with Andrea. Trust me, you can feel how she is stlll excited by flowers today!

With passion, experience and a bachelors and masters in Textile Design you'll be impressed with how she is able to transform patterns, textures and colors within her floral compositions.

Garden On The Square

If you are like me you admire meticulous attention to detail and service - especially when it comes to flowers. This is exactly what Julie Driscoll and her team are famous for. They are also known for creating custom floral designs that use fresh and unique blooms. Since I am being totally honest, this shop located in the heart of the Savannah historic district was my first flower shop crush. I used to spend way too much time looking at the floral designs and dreaming about them. I am serious. I admire them just as much today.

Garden on the square sdoffers daily deliveries, full service florals, bouquets and table centerpieces. They deliver beautiful destination event florals in the low including country within Savannah and Jekyll Island, Georgia and Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina. I've met Julie and she is a pure delight. If you drop in you just might find her there! One thing I admire about Garden on the Square is that they have always used their own images for daily work so you know what you are ordering.
