Colonial House of Flowers creates unique, classic custom designs that are known to be garden-inspired with a touch of whimsy.
Christy grew up in south Georgia not too far from the countryside and just up the road from the coast. She now lives in Atlanta with her red-headed husband Brian who she met in kindergarten, daughter Beatrice, son Whitaker, one mastiff-mix named Tulley and a siamese cat named, Willa.
Christy is thankful for the days of being sent to the garden by her grandmother which is where she believes her natural, often moody, painterly and raw style was developed. She studied advertising at the University of Georgia and loves the Georgia Bulldogs. In fact, she's Women of UGA Leadership Council.
After assuming a flower shop in her family, Christy's career took a new path. She was named the Mayesh Design Star and collaborated with Pottery Barn to develop garden-inspired content based on her shop, Colonial House of Flowers. This led to a series of blog posts and a Succulent Workshop series in stores, nationwide.
