The Most Amazing Wedding Venues in Atlanta

The Most Amazing Wedding Venues in Atlanta

AMBIANCE IS EVERYTHING WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR WEDDING DAY ESPECIALLY IN THE SOUTH, ESPECIALLY IN ATLANTA, GEORGIA.

Hello brides-to be! It's Christy from Colonial House of Flowers and today I'm focusing on one to the most influential decisions you will make during your event planning process. Choosing the destination of your nuptials is an important decision and here in Atlanta it's easy.

After all, a dream social event requires a dreamy venue that captures the personality of the people. No matter what a couple's style the biggest secret to planning an event is to remember is to be true to the things that make you - authentically you. This secret applies to everything including the venue. So, channel Marie Antionette, feel industrial-chic, or evoke history and be the belle of a ballroom with magnificent chandeliers and historical gardens.

Get your peepers ready for a look at some of the world's most breathtaking, beautiful backdrops to say "I do" right here in this Southern city.  I collected a round up of places to help narrow down your decisions below.

Yours Truly,

1. The Swan House Gardens

This iconic Atlanta spot is the definition of wedding dreams come true. Host an unforgettable social event at this historic venue setting that is full of drama, thanks to grand stone exterior stairs leading up to the Swan House. The reception looks just as stunning set up amongst the gardens. We’ve never seen a sight so pretty as those romantically draped roses and foraged southern greens on an organic arbor with the Southern mansion set behind. atlantahistorycenter.com

3. Southern Exchange Ballrooms

Located in the heart of Downtown Atlanta, these ballrooms offer contemporary glamour with plenty of room for large weddings. Although there are five distinct event spaces, the Whitehall Ballroom with its towering ceilings, dramatic crystal chandeliers, rich history and endless possibilities will have you drooling. If you grew up here (or your grandparents) you'll recognize this space as a department store. My mom tells me that my grandmother used to drive up to Atlanta to shop. Every time I am in this space I think about that... makes me so happy.

When using this space I highly recommend using a planner and vendors familiar with this venue. I can personally recommend Brian Worley Productions or Akeem Clayton Designs (below). This spot allows brides to really take glitz and glam to a new level. southernexchangeatl.com
