Sue McLeary Floral designer Passionflower floral design studio. Susan is a floral designer, artist and instructor who creates unusual, boundary-pushing floral art including elaborate headpieces, flower crowns, and her signature succulent jewelry. Her soulful, seasonally-inspired creations and floral wearables have been described as exquisite living artwork.
Susan has trained with some of the country’s leading floral designers, including Francoise Weeks, Erin Benzakein and Holly Chapple. She's developed her own distinctive aesthetic. Considered one of the country’s top designers of floral wearables and living jewelry, Susan received one gold and three silver medals and placed second overall in the 2014 Fusion Flowers International Designer of the Year competition, and one gold, two bronze medals the 2015 competition.
A passionate teacher, she will offers private design instruction for new, aspiring and professional florists.
Her work has been featured on the cover of Fusion Flowers Magazine and in leading industry publications and websites including Martha Stewart Weddings, Florist's Review, The Knot, My Modern Met, Refinery 29, SELF, Buzzfeed, Belle Armoire, Modern Wedding Flowers, Style Me Pretty and Grace Ormond Wedding Style. Christy Griner Hulsey Creative Director, Colonial House of Flowers. An artist, business owner and seeker of beauty. Christy loves things that are meaningful and intentional. She is the 2017 Mayesh Design Star which took her on an 8 city 1 Year tour, this year. Her work has been featured in International Magazines, Style Me Pretty, Florist Review, among many others. She's partnered with colleges, in her shop, Mayesh Wholesale Florist, Pottery Barn and Kate Spade New York to create workshops to be remembered. This Master Class at Musgrove is a one-of-a-kind collection of all things that she loves and the only workshop she is producing with her family. Her motto is, it doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful.
Photographer Corbin Gurkin Photo. Skilled at capturing a unique moment in time and understanding what the moment and the photograph mean to people - you, couple's, families, designers. Artistically considering every detail, her work is fine art in it's best form. She established her career as a destination wedding photographer over many years. Style Director Charleston Wedding Week. She has worked with styling fashion with floral workshops with Charleston Flower Workshop as well as with Ariella Chezar. Her background is bridal fashion and I have worked directly under designers like Monique Lhuillier and Romona Keveza as well as style independently. I also act as the lead fashion stylist for Charleston Weddings Magazine.
