This outdoor wedding is Full Of Plant-antical Elegance With A Bohemian-ly Tropical Twist! When Amanda Nistor said she wanted to feature this vibrant meets botanical green wedding with a DIY Pallet Vertical Garden it gave me all the feels. With over 4.4 million followers her blog, Ruffled, is one of the biggest resources for engaged couples seeking inspiration for their weddings. With the help of expert styling by Savannah's Ivory & Beau and Athens based photographer Izzy & Co , the story of this affair is one that you won't soon forget. It's fused with a nerdy scientific vibe like the custom beaker chandelier by Brunswick's Grace Graffiti. The free spirit floral composition includes artfully arranged luscious moss, relaxed rose booms, fresh camellia leaves and air plants. A cut/paste excerpt just as it was written is below. Bohemian Wedding Inspiration with a Botanical Twist
You can’t go wrong when you infuse bohemian style with botanical inspiration, two of our personal favorites. This styled shoot from Izzy Hudgins Photography, Ivory + Beau, and Colonial House of Flowers takes those two concepts and adds in a bit of science for some wedding inspiration that’s nothing short of magical! Stay tuned later today for a DIY project straight from this shoot.
From the event designers, Ivory + Beau: For this shoot we wanted to mix and match a tree loving hippie fairy bride who loves botany, plants and the forest with a hipster nerdy science loving groom. We felt that oranges would pop perfectly with all the plants and nature of the shoot. The Coastal Botanical Gardens was the perfect location for our theme and we set up their table in the greenhouse and the ceremony we set up in front of a bamboo garden.
For all the printables we wanted to mix the botany side with the science side so we put together the themes using chalkboard details with botany illustrations. We spent hours cutting out botany illustrations to put them between acrylic planks for a fun table setup.
