For you and for me it's bound to bring all of our flower dreams to life in something that is nothing short of a fairytale. If you're in or near the Buckhead area around April 28 - May 1, try to stop by to see the inaugural Bodacious Blooms Flower Festival to witness some of the most spell-binding installations you'll ever see.

I was invited to go to this new event hosted by the Buckhead Village. Trust me, it looks like we are going to want to see every last detail... looking forward to the budding line-up stacked with over-the-top florals, immersive exhibits, celebrity florists, cocktail parties, floral workshops, and wellness pop-ups. And, I am sharing what I know below. Let's GROW!

There will be stunning floral creations by the most respected, innovative and talented designers in the country like Carlos Franqui of Floratorium in New York City, Canaan Marshall Designs, and Pinker Times! Plus, a botanical-themed mural by Niki Zarabi

Let me stop right here and tell you, I know it. I LOVE ATLANTA! It's got so much more  BLOOMING special kind of magic than I ever knew.

I am happy to be here!

You may recognize this Georgia boy from HBO Max’s Full Bloom.  He will lead a flower-arranging workshop to teach you how to make breathtaking centerpieces. He's been featured in Southern Living, Modern Luxury, and Flower Magazine. “My vision for the installation is a garden party with a mix of beautiful spring florals and balloons in muted colors,” Marshall says. “It’s been two years since we’ve been able to be together, so I want it to feel like a celebration of flowers.”

“Flowers are an amazing way to bring people together,” said Marshall. “As a Georgia native, I’m thrilled to be a part of uniting our communities in such a beautiful way – we have big plans for the weekend, and the best part is, all are welcome!” Canaan Marshall

Next up! Carlos Franqui’s Floratorium studio who is famous for using live and faux silk botanicals, will visit Buckhead from its base in New York to create a larger-than-life installation. This outfit specializes in creating climbing, draping and dramatic installations for boutiques, restaurants, and even construction scaffolding.
